As you know, Nikon Corporation launched their two new flagship Digital SLR cameras.
The new cameras are the Nikon D3, designed for the professional photographer and the Nikon enthusiast or high end model Nikon D300.

The new product promotion show "Nikon Digital Live 2007" started on September 21 in Japan.
The "Nikon Digital Live 2007" show is held in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, Fukuoka and Sapporo from September through October 2007.

Michio Akiyama, a member of Nikon Kenkyukai and NHS, gate crashed the Tokyo show on September 22. Akiyama shows you the report for you who cannot join the "Nikon Digital Live 2007" show in Japan.

A lot of Nikon fans came to the Marunouchi Building in the morning.
The exhibition hall was crowded with Nikon fans. The staffs wearing black shirt are employees of Nikon corporation.
All Nikon fan enjoyed the talk about the Nikon cameras and Nikkor lenses with the black shirt staffs.
Because the staffs wearing black shirt are Nikon fan, too!

Mr. Tetsuro Goto

Michio Akiyama met Mr. Tetsuro Goto at the show.
Mr. Tetsuro Goto, he is a Nikon Corporation's operating officer, Vice President of Imaging Company.
The Nikon camera, digital SLR cameras and film camera F6 are developed in the Imaging Company.
He is the most famous Nikon's officer between the Nikon fan of Japan. Because you can find easily to his interview article and portrait in a big camera magazine in Japan.
Michio Akiyama talked about the Nikon D3 and D300 with Mr. Goto.
I felt his very HOT passion of the Nikon cameras and Nikkor lensese.

Naya-san is a business employee of Nikon corporation.
He loves Nikon cameras and Nikkor lenses. He explained Nikon D3 excellent features to me in detail. Also he had me use the Nikon D3 camera.

The photograph studio was specially set up in the exhibition hall.
Any person can join in the studio photo session by New Nikon D3.
The Nikon fan was able to borrow a new Nikon D3 camera and new Nikkor lenses in the studio photo session.

The D3 is Nikon's first full frame 35mm digital SLR camera body, featuring a 36.9x23.9mm, FX format, CMOS sensor offering 12.1 megapixels in resolution.
The new imaging sensor, which is utilized in the D3 was developed by Nikon.

Nikon's original FX-format CMOS image sensor with 36.0 (H) x 23.9 (V) mm image size; 12.1 effective megapixels.

Feature 2
Compatible with three image-sensor formats - FX format (36 x 24), 5:4 (30 x 24) and DX format (24 x 16).
